I am brand new to Short Sale Lead Machine.  I just started getting leads.  How are most people following up?  Other than calling and introducing yourself are there email campaigns available?  What about weeing out leads from outside my market area?  Any input would be appreciated.  Warmly, Rita

Hi there Joe!  I'm going to run through your questions and try to answer all of them tomorrow.  We will be on this group MUCH more in the coming weeks as we get things going more.  We are just now really doing our main launch this week and next week.  We have worked out most of the kinks in the sites and are just constantly improving them.

Content is NOT duplicate, we have 200+ unique articles that are spun and changed some for each blog, then inserted with unique keywords for your local market.  Been working fine so far.  Definitely get on the training webinars to learn how to get the most out of them.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to participate in the two webinars that I've signed up for...I'm signed up again for this coming Tuesday.  However, I've had success with your preferred partner program and will definitely try out anything new you're offering.  I've already signed up for a website and will try to "catch up" on Tuesday.  Thanks for always coming up with new, effective ways to increase leads for members!

I am quite familiar with this forum and used to do SEO junk for a company back in the peak. My broker has an interest in trying out your offering. Your video only played audio for me and seemed to stress this forum as on the net, which is true, but has little bearing on getting these new websites up in the search engines.

Also, after decades of being into this, I've been in several "we can do magic" web things that have a 20 second burn rate, if that.  If we try your website, it will be on a very short leash - the net doesn't take that much time to show results. Also, you say it is quick to put up but will not have any webinar/video available until your first webinar at the end of the month (expecting a signup and then just let the site sit until you have a webinar?).

Hopefully, that feedback is helpful to you.

As you probably suspect, the update of content is crucial, however, I suspect that the search engines will weed out the duplicate content and select the most popular site of yours to point everyone to - that would likely be your own site - not very useful to the rest of us, right? (Just a guess at this point - haven't done much in SEO for the last decade).

Also, I suspect you will periodically change the "sign up for this download" message, which I think is also good. Fresh and different is extremely important on the net. (Of course signup involvement is good, too.)

Of course your site layout looks good - most do these days.

I wonder about your direction toward homeowners as opposed to agents. We do work for attorneys and agents who really want to do other things besides sit on the phone all day talking to a nimrod designated as a negotiator because he can spell negotiator.  We have high powered realtors, mainly, who prefer to do what they enjoy and make money at - buying and selling real estate - and leave the painful SS work to us.  So, I have had this issue for my own websites that I have built - who is the target? Do homeowners have a clue that they should be looking at a short sale website? Does that really attract sellers? The agents know that if they are smart, they will give the grunge work to specialist and stick to their specialty, so they will look for these sites - every time they get hosed by a bank, that is.  So, I wonder.  But, since you have put yourself in the place as the expert, fine by me. HA!

For your setup videos, etc, what I think would be helpful is something on how to select a name, claim your area. This is missing everywhere I look.  For example, our office is in Atco, NJ. Every vendor out there says here are your leads for Atco or the zip. Swell, a town of 400 people?  That is not the area we play in, just a small area where the office is.  See what I mean? Finding a way to "claim" your area w/o diluting it by too much overlapping claims of nearby others is important on the net and nobody addresses this. For instance, we mainly cover south jersey, the shore area, mid jersey, eastern PA - but have activity all over the country (of course would prefer more activity in more states).  It would be stupid to try to claim the nation or NJ and PA and expect that we won't lose out to the many others who claim cherry hill or trenton or philadelphia or los angeles, right? It is a tough issue, but I think you can at least give hints and help to the people who sign up for your websites.  Whatdayathink?

Anyway, I have my fingers crossed that you'll be working enough on this to keep your clients (hopefully us) up at the top and attracting real business (and not just gawkers).
