What happened with your listing, was it foreclosed or did they eventually do it

Yes I have experience with CalHFA and had the same experience as you. They jacked my around for several months and then said ny seller did not have hardship. CalHFA had its own budget formula and if your client does not match that they say they make too much money. Mt seller was negative on income and expenses and they said their guidlines are lower, hey thats his expenses?. Try to find out the budget they go by! Good Luck!

Has anyone done a SS with CalHFA, I am doing one at present and they are telling me that they feel the seller does not have a hardship, the seller and I feel he has a legitimate hardship. They are saying no to the SS. My previous dealings with SS lenders is that once they feel the pain of not being paid, they change there minds.

I would like to know if you have been through this and if so, please let me know your experiences.
