need a chase short sale closing department contact. They are demanding we remove the buyers paid out side of closing items (appraisal and credit report fee) with is a RESPA violation and we cannot do. They will NOT approve the HUD and we have already closed. PLEASE HELP! Cell 314-651-4047
How did the title company close the transaction without first getting the closing HUD approved by Chase?
How did it close without Hud approval from Chase??
No HUD approval no Deal! Is there a tolerence on the lending to allow for these small charges? Any fees paid outside of escrow is usually not allowed. Maybe the lender could work this out within the HUD somehow. Good Luck.
