I had a buyer for my short sale, but my client decided to file for backrupcy because the second lienholder PNC was asking for $ 19,200 and would only provide a release of the lein and not full satisfaction of the loan and the buyer walked. Bank of America was only offering $ 3,000 for the 2nd. How does the banckrupcy affect the 2nd now and can I resell the property again?

I have a friend that filed a BR, has been discharged and now her lender is working on a loan mod for her under the "making home affordable program" they told her that she is the perfect canidate for the program and it does not matter that she filed a BR. I found that interesting.
