I need some serious help!!! I've been blessed to try and perform a Short Sale on a Town-home listed on 05/31/13 and has a foreclosure sale date of 07/17/13. The lender HFC will not postpone foreclosure sale date, even with the offer we have in on file, and they say could be 30 for review, even though that could go over the time, and they wont tell me where value is really at. Any suggestions to get postponed for more time, or how to get a better offer in time to close by 07/17/13?

Tomorrow its in Elizabeth NJ,then Queens NY

Ocwen is not accepting any offers on a short sale condo. They are not willing to say why. They have done a BPO ( although I have no idea how as they never asked for entry), but are unwilling to share the findings of the BPO. How and what can we do to "make" them accept any of the 34 offers?
I don't know what is going on at Bank of America, but I have two stories to that are eerily similar. Case number #1:
One short sale was started June 6, 2012. The date is right. It really has been going on a year. It took 3 cases at HUD to finally get the seller out of " loan modification " status and into "short sale." I have had the same buyer for a year. On February 19, 2013 I was…Continue

"Mike Collins was easy to talk to and very good at explaining in detail all aspects of the short sale of the property. With a lot of patience, he walked me through the process of a short sale. He was understanding of my plight and very sympathetic.
Mike was a pleasure to work with and he is a man of his word.
Thank you, Mike, and best of luck to you."

If you applied for a loan modification and have not heard from the bank after a couple of months, you’d tend to get a little nervous and perhaps even annoyed. With this in mind, many homeowners ask us, “When will the bank advise me as to whether I am going to get a modification or not?” and “What should I do while I’m waiting?.”
How long does a loan modification take?
The loan modification process typically takes six (6) months to nine (9) months depending mostly on your bank…Continue
