"yes yes...you can do a short sale when a home is in chapter seven with the approval of the bankruptcy attorney. What is better: a bankruptcy and a foreclosure? OR a bankruptcy and a short sale!!! Do the short sale. Good luck."

I am going to list a home that is going to sheriff sale December 2.  The buyer has filed bankruptcy, but is still wanting  to do the short sale.  Do I call and use their forms? Am I overlooking generic forms in the bank list.?  The seller filed bankruptcy just to avoid having to work with this bank.  Will they stop the sale if the short sale is filed ?See More
