After receiving approval on my Wells Fargo Short Sale, we were instructed in the Approval letter to have the settlement officer forward a copy of the HUD 1 48 hrs. prior to closing. She did, only to receive an e-mail response back stating that the "file is not currently active and the contract was rescinded" a week before, after we had received the approval.
