Wells fargo 2nd Trust Deeds

Since Wells Fargo was a recipient of TARP funds, does it follow that this bank has an obligation to follow federal short sale guidelines, even when they allow servicers such as Provident Funding, LLC and Green Tree to attempt to collect on their behalf? Ditto for U.S. bank and Bank of America 2nd TD's (namely HELOC's). Your input, please...

About Me/Profile of yourself: - Please add your Brokerage Company name also!
I have been a member of the RE/MAX organization for more than 15 years. I guess there's little more to say than I treat my clients with dignity and respect. No-one asked for, nor did they foresee, the situation that the whole country is currently experiencing. My forte lies in my persistence, negotiating skills, and commonsense, I think. My team and I stay on top of the banks, and I become particularly proactive when I encounter incompetence or laziness on the part of the negotiator. If trying to resolve the situation at the negotiator level fails, then I will do whatever I can to address the situation at the CEO/CFO/Director level. It's not about the money. It's about doing my best to remediate what little I can in my corner of the world. I treat my clients as I would my family and myself, and I will NEVER, EVER give up. Tracey Donley, RE/MAX Excellence.
