Growing up in the hills of Eastern Knox County, Toby Boyce learned the value of a hard day's work! That is one value that has permeated throughout his life from his volunteering, to his work life, to his marriage, and even to his faith.

That same determination and focus on the job at hand continues to this day.

Toby is active in the Central Ohio community with Main Street Delaware, Andrews House, Red Cross, Friends of the Delaware County Library, and other organization. He serves on the board of director for the Delaware Cows summer league baseball team.

Toby is active in the real estate community. He earned the prestigious Delaware County Board of REALTORS 2007 Rookie of the Year Award during his first year in the business. In addition, his peers elected him to serve as State Director for our local board of REALTORS and he has served as the area's Tour Director. At the state level, Toby is active as a member of the Professional Development Committee, Communication Committee and Scholarship Committees for the Ohio Association of REALTORS®. In addition he's been recently named to the Business Planning Committee for the National Association of REALTORS.

Everyone once in a while the Short Sale Dietys -- don't get a big head Mike - smile down on us normal folks.

I listed a house only 10 days away from the sheriff's sale and we took it head on. On Friday, we dropped to the "magic" price and had 30 showings and nine offers by Sunday night. Making the Buyer's Agent Pay for a Negotiator?

I was talking with another agent in my office this morning and she was concerned about not getting paid on her short sale. She's hired a negotiator (1%) for the deal and is now "expecting" the buyer's agent to split the deal with her.
