I recently completed a BofA co-operative short sale, both loans were with BofA and sellers were not late and remained current on their payments throughout the short sale process. Short Sales can be completed with the right knowledgable Broker/Agent and experience. I believe we are seeing a shift with lenders open to the idea of helping borrowers who need to move without putting them through the rigors of harming sellers credit by denying a request to do a short sale because they are not late on…See More

"The second Lien holder doesnt have to participate in HAFA but if the first lien is going HAFA the second Lien will only get a max of $8,000.00. The seller incentive can now be used to help offset any additional monies the second lien might be asking…"
