I need contact information for Fannie and Freddie

I am dealing with both entities in 2 separate transactions. The negotiators will not give out investor information. When I call the general number, the response is "talk to your servicer". I cannot seem to get anywhere. The negotiators do not make much effort in getting the investors to understand what we are asking or saying.


One deal is with B of A, the FNMA loan. Property has been on the market since April, 2011. I originally listed it at $165,000 and had to keep reducing…

I look up the investor via Lane Guide data and although I couldn't do the same with Freddie Mac, I was able to help move things along by having the sellers contact FM using info from Lane and request their Loan Mod or Short Sale directly. Then we submit two packages almost at same time, utilizing their forms and assigned contact. I struggled with a dead end loan mod for two years before trying this method and that's when the lines of communication opened up. Now I'm not saying FM is any better or more efficient to deal with, because frankly, they were downright rude and abrupt, but things did move along then on both sides.
