- Misty McMillan has over 10 years of experience within the Real Estate Industry in a professional, full-time capacity including background as a Notary Signing Agent.
Raised in Scottsdale, AZ, Misty's real estate career began as a teen, working with her father on Spec homes and rehab projects. She purchased her first home at the age of 20.
Misty completed her college degree at Grand Canyon University and moved to Shingle Springs, CA, officially starting her real estate career.
During Misty’s six years as a Realtor in California, she focused on investment properties including new construction, land acquisition, and Manufactured Home sales. Misty also continued to grow her own real estate portfolio focusing on investment flips and parcel mergers before the market crash in 2006.
“I saw the writing on the wall and kept up to date on the latest real estate news. I knew that the market was dropping fast and warned all my investors to move quickly.”
Misty decided to move her family to a better real estate market that would be the least affected by the downturn. With a strong local economy that could weather the coming storm, Misty and her family decided to make the move to Frisco, Texas in 2006.
For the last four years, Misty had been blessed with the opportunity to work for one of the top REO Realtors in the industry. During this time she learned the ins and outs of the foreclosure and short sale side of real estate.
