- In 2002 earned a college degree in accounting in Guatemala CA and worked for a coffee exporter for 2 years as a contract preparer and processor at the shipping department. In 2004 moved to the USA and started all over again like most immigrants, learned the construction, painting and decorating business and did that for about 20 years which by the way has become very handy in the foreclosure process, negotiations with lenders, advising home buyers on requests for repairs and potential costs. Been licensed in real estate since August 2002 worked in real estate during the good times 2002 to 2006 and most agent did well then but now when things change since 2006/2007 many of us agent needed to adapt to the market, educate and train ourselves to better serve homeowners facing foreclosure, understand the foreclosure process complexities and that is what I have been doing and will continue doing. I have helped many homeowners to avoid foreclosures, move on with their lives and made good friends with them, they have been a great source of referrals for me, people can tell if you are really interested in them aswell or just the commission, yes we have to make a living but but it's comforting when you are empathetic to them . They have had many agents knocking on their doors to list their home but my clients tell them that they have their agent....me. Thank so much friends!
