Las Vegas Short Sale Market Report October 2011

There are approx 5,284 Short Sales for sale in the Las Vegas area per the local MLS,
(out of approx 11,384 homes for sale in Las Vegas )
This is for homes without contracts on them.
Our short sale pendings and homes with contracts on them are at .... 6,955
Last month (September) approx 800 short sales sold in the Las Vegas area.

Closings on Las Vegas Short Sales were down again in February.
There were 677 short sales sold in the Las Vegas area in February 2011.

Short Sales are the wave of the future...
Currently there are approx. 4,389 short sales for sale in the Las Vegas area, this includes, resale single family homes, condos, townhomes, of that approx 3,443 of them are single family homes.
There are approx. 11,756 short sales that are in escrow under contract/pending in the Las Vegas area.
Total short sale closings year to date…
