They have been selling short sales for many years and are featured in the Certified Distressed Property Expert field manual (CDPE is a curriculum focused on teaching agents to successfully complete short sales).

There are various factors that effect the length of time that a short sale can take.
- Do you have more than 1 loan? -If you have multiple loans, then there are more than one lender to negotiate with.
- Who are the lenders? -Not all lenders are created equal. Some are more willing to work with you than others. An experienced short sale Realtor can guide you through which lender typically is easier to work with.

Glad to see you here as well. Hard NOT to do short sales these days. It's nice to have another resource to check in with. If you have any questions on Short Sales, let me know. And if you know a way to push WaMu/Chase forward, I'm all ears. Got one that's taking forever...but from everything I've been able to find out, they simply have a long valuation process.
