After spending many years in the 'New Home Sales' Market you gain many skills that I don't see being used in the 'existing home' arena. One skill is how to serve the three parties involved with a Short Sale; the seller, buyer, and the banks. As a listing agent, I have all the correct paper work submitted the first time, keep all parties up-to-date, understand the time schedule of banks to know when task should be completed, and when to push the file along. I’ve even cleaned up property titles, that is usually a lawyer’s job. As a buyer’s agent I’ve even had the seller give me permission to deal with the bank to get the job done as his realtor was not, finishing tasks that the listing agent didn’t understand or was too lazy to do. I go the extra step for all sides involved. I look forward to putting my experience to work for you in the near future.

B of A - VA short sale - Requiring Appraisal Fee

I have a B of A - VA short sale - They are requiring someone to pay for another appraisal as the current one is 180 days old. I have done VA short sales before, but never in any short sale have I been asked to pay for an appraisal. Has anyone run into this with Bank of America?
