If there is no equity and you attempt a short sale, you need the BK trustee's written permission to sell. The lender won't touch it…"

Potential Short Sale property with a Bankruptcy tied to it??
I have a potential listing, what is owed on the first loan is very small considering the market value BUT the owners had a personal bankruptcy that was tied to their home two years ago, so with the amount of the bankruptcy and what is owed on the mortgage, the total would be "short" if we sold the property. Owners need to get out! Any ideas or suggestions or has anyone had experience with this?
