Had a  short sale stopped because a major bank wanted the closer to sign the arms length affidavit when the bank substituted a new form on the day of the closing which had the closer sign off on it

Closer was advised by the title companies counsel not to sign so the sale was stopped--this is something that needs to be addressed with the banks---a closer should not have that responsibility for someone they just met at the closing This was the last signature needed to close so don't count your chickens until the last signature is signed-- When will the banks begin to cooperate?
