Chapter 7 & 13 - Does it make BoA more acceptable to Short Sale offers or "Low Ball Offers"?
Just curious what the general opinion is of BoA being more acceptable to Negotiations when a
Chap 7 or 13 is filed.
You can file but not finalize, this protects assets from Foreclosure, then once Sold you can cancel Bankruptcy request. (Please excuse any wrong terminology, not an attorney)
Any experience with doing this?

it makes no difference. In fact, I just had BOA punish a seller for filing for BK. BOA had approved a 150K offer. The buyer fell out and seller filed BK. We got another buyer for 170K Denied and file closed without possibility of restart.
