PNC 2nd..transferred to Collections following our submitted offer?

Much like many of you, I also have a PNC 2nd and I've filed the offer and short sale doc's last month..As of today, I was informed PNC has placed this in Collections and the Short Sale Dept failed to assign a negotiator even though the BPO was completed. I contacted PNC and was informed 'this is unusual' and I was given Terrence Crawford's contact in SS Dept..to date, Terrence has dropped the ball and now I've got the Collections issue to remedy. I also contacted John Pachuta (referred as a Escalation person) and so far no reply.

Have any of you experienced this type of malfunction with PNC? How did you resolve it?

Hi Seth, no advice because unfortunately we are in a similar situation. It seems that every transaction with PNC is different. In ours, the main problem so far is speed, we are still waiting to hear something back. I dont have a problem with PNC trying to collect, or being aggressive about it, I just wish they were more responsive and would work to a solution. Let us know how yours turns out. I will do the same, and good luck.
