HSBC short sale impossible based on faulty BPO valuation. HSBC keeping BPO for 6 months, seemingly forcing customer to deed in lieu or foreclosure. Any suggestions?
HSBC seems pretty reasonable to deal with in my experience. Ask them what can be done and if they have a BPO Valuation Dispute Process. If Freddie/Fannie or FHA are not involved (for escalations) .. you might be out of luck.
