Just got back from the REO Expo in Ft. Worth Texas the other day. One of the "powers that be" in Chase informed me that they will be making the switch over to Equator to process all short sales starting in a month or two. I personally think this…Continue

I recently and still have an issue with Chase and the Equator system. I was told that when we send a message to a negotiator or a closer at Chase, that they are not notified that there is an outstanding message. I did try and call the closer 5 or…Continue

Good Day to All... I have a client that made an offer on a property that Chase has the current loan on. After 6 weeks, we finally received the Approval to Participate on March 14th. My client had everything ready to go, so we could move right along…Continue

I have a short sale listing & spoke with the negotiator at Chase yesterday. In order for Chase to receive 82% of the appraised value the price would need to be raised $2,000. The buyers agent informed me today that the buyer would not be willing…Continue

Debbie, same thing happened to me with a BOA short sale. Nothing happened until the congressman's office started to investigate (along with the news channel investigators). Then we got results and closed in 30 days.
I wish I knew what was going on there. My little short sale opened in October went through 15 processors, 2 negotiators and I don't remember how many accelerations. Sent to HAFA 4 times even though the file specifically states that neither the investor nor PMI participate. Someone just can't read or had too many files and figured this was a way to get rid of it. Finally after my client got one of our congresswomen involved we got it approved. From the time her office intervened it was approximately 30 days for the whole process - Got the approval letter this morning. We should not have to fight so hard on these. Instead of things getting easier, the banks get more inept every day.
Have a chase short sale that I've been working for 10 months. They kept sending seller packages, seller sends them back and me copies, I keep up with phone calls etc. Then one day we wake up and instead of being approved, we have to go to equator. Ok. resubmit everything - now the foreclosure department and short sale department know there is an offer. Sale date issued, July 1 they denied the sale. No explanation. No nothing. Every day I send an email and calling why. Today they decided ok. we will take the offer but you have to close a USDA loan by July 17, 2013. What the heck.
I had a Chase short sale approved on May 21 and was told that I would have the approval letter within 48 hours. Today is the 8th day and I have not received it and have sent multiple emails to the Closing Department and to the supervisor with NO response. Does anyone have an escalation contact for Chase?
Does anyone have an escalation contact for Chase? They received our short sale package on March 19, 2013 and STILL they have not ordered a BPO. We have been calling all week; every week - NOTHING! ???
We need to negotiate the late fees, foreclosure and attorney fees down by only about $5,000 to get a sale closed. These borrowers cannot do a SS. Has anyone had a success with negotiating these fees without doing a full short sale? Your help and advice are much appreciated.
Chase Update... they are using Equator now but not for uploading new short sales.
Sandy, I am in the same boat but over $5K.............I would love to get a contact at Chase that is high up
