CDPE Marketing this designation to Homeowners

We're hoping CDPE will take the weight off of us marketing their "CDPE" designation to the consumer and this designation will be better know to sellers soon.

Most banks are familiar but sellers are NOT contacting agents that have their CDPE designation and majority have no idea what it is.

I tell my clients that i took the initative to get certified to be better in handling there short sale transaction. Many agents take a short sale and dont know what to do about it and it goes to foreclosure. And they understand the diffrence between. Either you want a foreclosure or a relieve of this headace...it helps

It's my humble opinion that we as CDPE agents need to get the word out and let Sellers know the difference. We all know of agents that have no idea how to do Short Sales the right way, so keep pushing and I'm sure as time passes, sellers will be better educated and start to work with agents that are totally engaged in the Short Sale process.
