Permalink Reply by Craig Bartels on January 20, 2012 at 5:43pm yep, changed a month or so ago...of course, half the people I am emailing their new email address has not been setup and the new email addresses bounce.
I think they changed names hoping maybe people will forget the bad rep they have, and a new name will fix it. I doubt it, nothing has changed at that horrible company, how on earth are they still in business?
Permalink Reply by Steven Pawera on January 20, 2012 at 6:02pm And you remind me of yet another sore point: emails.
The email would come from an '@bankofamerica.com' address, you'd reply, never get a response only to later learn, 'I think we have email accounts but no one ever gave us any information on how to use those. You have to contact us at '_@UTLS.COM'.
Permalink Reply by Linda J Reibenstein on January 20, 2012 at 7:59pm They are horrible! I have one of mine with them and hasn't done a thing on the file. At one time I had two with them but was lucky enough to get it moved to Loan resolution which does a really good job.
Permalink Reply by Steven Pawera on January 20, 2012 at 8:28pm Steve's Tip of The Day:
Avoid ALL BAC VENDORS (and other problems): submit you file once you have an offer. You'll get to work directly with real BAC employees.
Some of you will no doubt be asking, 'so how is that an improvement?' :)
Permalink Reply by Joe Beauchamp on January 21, 2012 at 2:36am BOA has been / is planning to take HAFA "inhouse". I got this from a good escalation person who is opening up an escalation procedure to eclipse the twitter contact, etc.
Much of what is done by the HAFA sub's are really done by someone at BOA. It doesn't surprise me that all HAFA subs for BOA suck - everything is done by a negotiator at BOA that you cannot get to, cannot learn who, cannot complain about so are lowest priority to him. Duh..
Anyway, it is BOA, so take the info for what it is worth..??
Permalink Reply by Jennifer Mullen on February 13, 2012 at 3:23pm Has anyone had any good luck with AMO? Is there an escalation number or a good supervisor?
Permalink Reply by Craig Bartels on February 13, 2012 at 3:30pm if anyone has a contact for a supervisor that actually does something here, I would love to have it as well!
I have called people, I have emailed people I was told is a supervisor, I have never ever had a call back...from any of them, they all ignore you.
Permalink Reply by Steven Pawera on February 13, 2012 at 4:20pm You have to escalate through BAC. there is a 'HAFA Oversight team' - but they are kept a well guarded secret
Has anyone heard of the HAFA vendors being there to do anything OTHER than wokr on HAFA files?
I just got a response from the woman at DTS who 'closed the file because it was set up wrong and I couldn't move the file forward' [the file had been set up by someone in BAC escalations]. Any way, most recent response was, 'call in to DTS and ask fro someone on the HAFA team. I don't do HAFA'. What DOES she do??
Permalink Reply by Donal J Dowling on February 17, 2012 at 2:13pm I normally have great contacts at BOA in the escalation Dept .but they are avoding me
Currently dealing with AMO and it is nightmare ."Specialist " asked for items to be included on the HUD which would have made the HUD actually a non- legal document .After 4 hours a supervisor finally steered her to agree with me .
I have uploaded the same HUD 6 times in 2 weeks , at her request ,with 6 different promises of an approval letter .
When I call the 800 number ,they do not have her in the system and she does not have her voice mail activated .
I am now calling the office of the President of BOA
WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS !!!!
