The letter from CHASE stated...

  • RETURN YOUR LISTING AGREEMENT NOW
  • OWE NOTHING MORE ON YOUR MORTGAGE
  • GET $30,000.00 WHEN YOU SELL YOUR HOME.

    My clients had 20 days to respond or the offer would be no longer valid.
    Chase told them to find a real estate agent with experience working with mortgage companies,
    they called me and asked for my help as a short sale specialist.

My clients were a bit skeptical as to if this was a true offer as most banks offer $3,000.00 not $30,000.00
to cooperate with the short sale process
I let them know it is a very limited offer and that Chase has sent this letter
out to only a few selected
 Temecula homeowners.

I listed their home and posted a copy of the letter here so you know this is a real offer from CHASE.

Had the same thing.  Client got a letter from Chase (She had not lived in the house for a year and had been through bankruptcy)   Offered her $15,000 to short sale.  Property value was $43,000.   I listed, sold and closed it within 45 days and she walked away $15,000 richer.  Not only does the client get money, but it closes much quicker than a regular short sale.

Maybe there is a trend here. My clients were also in a BK that had just been discharged.

same thing here, we closed one where the Seller got a check for $30k at closing on his short sale and HE PUT NO MONEY DOWN WHEN HE BOUGHT THE HOME!!!!!

 

I thought it was a joke when he told me about hte letter, but, it is 100% true.

 

It is for Chase portfolio loans and is called the "Chase Incentive" program.....ask about and your clients will be VERY VERY HAPPY!!!!!

 

These short sales also tend to close in 30 to 60 days becuase it is Chase's money at risk......good stuff.......
