Comment by Catherine Gheen on May 1, 2012 at 1:13am ok, I am coming up on 5 months since complete file was submitted. Every time Aurora says they will have a decision there is a delay?
I can not seem to get any executive to move off their behind to speed up the review of the underwriter!!!
Does anyone have any good contacts of anyone at Aurora that cares about their job?
HELP!
Catherine Gheen
I'm having difficulty with a short sale w/Aurora. They hold the first and 2nd. Been at this since last June, finally got the file out of HAFA (not approved) and they made us restart the file with a different department in October. I FINALLY have the first looking at the file and saying they are ready to move forward but I can't for the life of me get the payoff figure for the 2nd. No matter what I do I keep getting nothing. And the negotiator on the first REFUSES to assist me. It's getting ridiculous. Can anyone get me a number/email address whatever so I can get to someone in management to get this file expedited?
Thanks much!...

Comment by Patti Guilford on December 19, 2011 at 6:40pm that may or may not be true but you don't know until you try.
Who is the investor?
And yes - there is a process for value dispute with the investor.
Comment by Sara Mehrpouyan Los Angeles CDPE on December 19, 2011 at 6:33pm Thanks Patti, Aurora executive told me that it would be "no use" to try the investor.
Comment by Patti Guilford on December 19, 2011 at 6:28pm I got an Aurora approval in 60 days. You have to be prepared to dispute value these days by getting your own appraisal. Have the buyer's lender order one. If the buyer is cash, the buyer should apply for an FHA loan because that appraisal will stay with the property. Or have the seller pay for one, if possible.
I don't have any high level contacts, just regular negotiators like you. Try Short Sale Superstars...tons of info there.
Also - google Aurora and call the main number for help.
Who is the investor? You can appeal to them, as well.
Comment by Sara Mehrpouyan Los Angeles CDPE on December 19, 2011 at 6:02pm I am having a very tough time with Aurora Short Sale right now because their appraisal came in TOO high. Already tried the executive phone and she was rude. Practically said to let the property foreclose. Anyone have ANY escalation contacts? Please email me smehr818@gmail.com Thanks so much
Comment by Patricia Baker on December 19, 2011 at 5:17pm Okay going on 8 months and no BPO, and can't get into executive phone number, anyone have any suggestion?
Comment by Sara Mehrpouyan Los Angeles CDPE on December 13, 2011 at 8:16pm Has anyone had a negotiator with Aurora give them 2 different values-- Option 1 $350k for HAFA and $320k for traditional short sale?
