Short Sale Initiated Before Offer?
Does anybody know if I can get the short sale initiated before I receive an offer? Or does AHM require an offer before beginning? Thanks!

Yes you can and if you are doing a HAFA , it is best to begin with a modification first.

I was recently at the NAHREP convention where most of the lenders spoke. It really does sound like you should be initiate with most of them even if you do not have an offer yet. Just make sure to keep asking the right questions. A lot of their websites will also have information. Good luck!
