Onewest Bank still billing sellers for closed HAFA short sale

OneWest is still sending the sellers a mortgage statement which now indicates they owe $25000, along with a offer to apply for a HAMP modification, is this example of miscommunicating depts or should the sellers be worried? We actually closed the HAFA short sale about 8-9 mo after it was first submitted and that was on June 9th 2011.

They should call.  They should get a fax number to where they send their final, approved HUD, wire confirmation from the closing and get this taken care of.  They also should check their credit and make sure it's not still being reported.  You do not ignore stuff like this.
