Chase closer won't give us a 2nd extension on our short sale approval. She states that this is a Freddie Mac policy and can't be changed. Seller's and Buyer's have signed, docs are at the lender to fund but we needed the extra day to record (we're in Ca). 1st extension was needed due to appraisal issue.
Has anyone had this happen to them??
I am also in California and the title company I use will do same day fund and record again - even on short sales. It has to fund by about 11:00 am to do it.
Call Freddie Mac directly and let them know the situation. They will authorize it.
It is called a lazy negotiator (or you pissed them off)!!!
GO up the food chain (if you e-mail me I can send you a few), reach out directly to Freddie and you will get your extension.....i got $5 on it!!!
Don't quit, your Seller is counting on you (not to mention your commission)!!!!
Let me know if I can help.....
