I had a similar problem with Chase where I had approval on both loans (they owned both) and final HUD approval as well and at the 12th hour I was notified they had sold off the 2nd on the property. I now had to deal with the new company direct. it became my problem, the negotiator did not know they had sold off the 2nd and was giving the second 0 dollars. If this had happened after close I would turn it over to the title company but I agree that Chase could just turn down the wire and try to unwind the deal. Try escalating up managment at either company. This could turn out to be quite messy.
